Few travelers come to Mustique for the world-class boutiques or duty-free bargains, drawn instead by the island's selection of incredible villas. Mustique does have some small stores, clustered mainly within charming Lovell Village on Britannia Bay. Despite the small numbers, most shops here are worthy of a trip off the beach and out of your villas. Mustique has several small grocery stores and bakeries where visitors can stock up on basics and sample local treats. While the Mustique General Store and Corea's Food Store are ideal for general grocery needs, a necessity to keep the fridges full at your villas, Mustique and its people come alive through places like the Sweetie Pie Bakery (with French breads), Johanna's Banana Café (serving local coffees and cocktails as well as homemade ice cream), and the Treasure Boutique (a pink and purple gingerbread house full of Mustiquan souvenirs).
